Vignale only created bodies for four Inter Cabriolets, which obviously makes this one an incredibly rare piece of automotive history. The 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Cabriolet that you see here flaunts unique design features and a powerful triple-carbureted engine, and it is an eminently covetable early collectible in the celebrated tale of the Colombo V-12 Ferrari.

Some of the car’s most distinguishable original design cues include the dual-mouth front fascia, the curved rear fenders, and bumpers that kept the same color as the rest of the body, which was a quite unusual design decision at the time. The bright red leather interior contrasts wonderfully with the black exterior for a classy and highly luxurious appearance.

The car has benefited from a few careful restorations over the years and it is now in wonderful condition. Its history has been meticulously documented by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini, and experts have assessed that it would make for an excellent candidate at exhibition and driving exhibitions worldwide, as well as for FIVA certification.
