Overmarine worked closely with the owner of the new Mangusta 132 luxury yacht to make sure that his expectations would be no only met, but surpassed. What the owner wanted was a beautiful vessel that would ensure panoramic views of the sea regardless of whether he would be indoors or out on the decks. He also needed the yacht to represent an excellent choice for family outings, and not just a functional but non-appealing boat.

This is the owner’s second Mangusta yacht, which means that he knew exactly which features he wanted enhanced in the new one. Various socialization areas and loads of natural lighting were two musts. For wonderful moments with the family there is a generous bathing area on the aft deck, nearby dining and lounging areas, a large Jacuzzi, a breakfast table that seats eight people, a bar, a couple of inviting sunbathing settees, an alfresco dining table, and more.

In order to achieve a seamless and uninterrupted connection with the sea, all spaces were designed to be ample yet minimally furnished and decorated. There is nothing to obstruct the gaze as one seeks the blue horizon. A wrap around deck is there for the crew to use and thus provide extra privacy and relaxation for the guests. Services can be as discreet as the owner wants them to be.

Oak flooring, natural walnut paneling, and other expensive finishes are there to enhance the luxurious character of the yacht, while modern steel accents balance out the classic elegance of the rooms. High tech features help make life extremely enjoyable on Mangusta 132: the LCD-embedded glass panels on the bridge area, for instance, can be instantly turned opaque by simply pushing a button. Large TV sets, a top-notch surround sound system, and smart LED technology are all there for everyone’s comfort.

All cabins are welcoming and beautifully appointed to very high standards of comfort. Eight guests can accompany the owner in his sea explorations. There is a double cabin, a twin cabin, a VIP suite, and a vast owner’s suite on board. The latter is obviously a full-beam master, with a study area, a large bedroom, and an en-suite bathroom with Crema Luna marble inserts.

Powering the yacht are three top-of-the line MTU 16V 2000 series engines, as well as two Kamaewa waterjets. Together they push the Mangusta 132 to a top speed of 34 knots.
